Space Marines and Battle Sisters,
It's been 48 hours since we released Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 and what a busy 48 hours it's been!
We've watched fun gameplay videos, read lots of great press coverage, and have seen all your wonderful reviews and comments.
On that note, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a review for the game as it really helps us reach more players!

Boltgun 2 Across the Internet
We're really happy with how the game has been received and we thought it might be fun to share some of the fun things we've spotted online since launch:
Hellstorm Wargaming showed pure dedication as he streamed the game for over 11 hours in his determination to finish it all in one sitting. Our dev team watched the entire thing together on Discord, cheering Mikey along as he went:

In his review, Jeficus declared Boltgun 2 a god-tier FPS game and the best game he'd played in a while. We also had a blast tuning into both his Nyra and Malum streams - [dynamiclink href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMfxoaZNOoc"]
We also loved KimberPrime's stream, which was very wholesome and fun to watch. We loved their passion for both the game and Warhammer 40,000 universe:

Accent_and_AttitudeTV played Boltgun 1 and Boltgun 2 back-to-back and called the sequel “out of this world” and “worth every penny” ❤️

And a final shout out to Kobie and Kevin at Active Reload Gaming! We loved the format and how their review essentially consisted of Kobie convincing his dad to check it out:

On the press side, we saw some truly phenomenal reviews across a range of sites. Here are some of our favourite quotes:
IGN - “Whether you're a Warhammer die-hard, a classic shooter fan, or simply boomer shooter curious, Boltgun 2 is a genuine blast and well worth your time.”
Kotaku - "More guns, more enemies, more variety, and better levels makes this one of the best boomer shooters around"
TechRaptor - “This is the definitive way to live out your dreams as a one-man, chaos-killing machine.”
Finger Guns - “Exemplifying the fast, frenetic energy of the likes of Doom, you’ll constantly be moving, constantly bearing down on some new threat, constantly keeping an eye out for enemies you know will drop health or Will (the game’s version of armour).”
PlayStation Universe - "In every way that a sequel can and should improve over its predecessor, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 succeeds."
Dualshockers - “Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 delivers fast-paced, exhilarating action that’ll get your heart pumping and your feet stomping. With slick gunplay, a brilliant soundtrack, and dozens of tight levels, this is one you won't want to miss.”
Gamer Social Club - "I absolutely adored my time with Boltgun 2, and any fans of Warhammer or Boomer Shooters will not be disappointed."
And from our wonderful players and community members:

Reveryn - “Everything the first Boltgun lacked is present in Boltgun 2.”
Kralkatorrik - “Exactly what you'd expect from WH40k: Boltgun, except better.”
Citrine - "I finished the game. That was fantastic. Idk what else to say."
Titouandu57 - "Just finished the game with Malum Caedo and damn it was good, every flaw the first one had was improved in this sequel."

Known Bugs and Fixes
No launch is perfect, and we have seen a couple of bugs cropping up via our bug report form and in the Steam forums.
Unable to progress past a level when pressing continue - We believe this is related to accessing a level via Level Select rather than the campaign and then clicking on the Continue button on the Main Menu. This would load your last created save which would be from the Level Select screen, not your campaign.
To fix this, try quitting to menu and selecting a campaign save from the Load Level screen. Alternatively, some players have reported that restarting their game fixed this issue.
We also have a change to make continuing the campaign clearer and easier to do for players.
Nurgle FPS drops – An issue is occurring that causes FPS to drop during the “Nurgle Nightmare” campaign.
We have investigated this issue and have a hotfix we plan to release soon.
Fatal Error on launching the game – This issue appears to be a specific hardware issue, such as the Intel Core Ultra series of CPUs.
To fix this, try updating this driver - Intel® NPU Driver - Windows* and we also have a fix that should work without the update.
The final purge in “The Trenches” level not ending when it should
We have a fix for this, which will be part of a hotfix patch
Stuck in the Lord of Skulls – Unlucky positioning led to some players getting stuck inside the Lord of Skulls when he collapsed.
We’ve fixed this in the upcoming hotfix.
While we’d love to have these fixes in before the weekend, we need a few days to carefully test the new build and make sure it addresses the above issues without introducing any new ones.
We’re aiming to release a patch next week to address these issues, as well as few other pieces of feedback we've seen players raising. The biggest of which is crosshair customisation, which will let you adjust opacity, scale, and change to a dot.
Don’t forget to report any bugs your encounter or feedback you’d like to share with us in our feedback form at the top of this page: https://aurochdigital.com/warhammer-40000-boltgun-2-faq
We hope you're enjoying Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2! FOR THE EMPEROR!
