These terms apply to the SteamCozy website (https://steamcozy.com) and to the SteamCozy connector for AI assistants, operated from Australia by wuko ("we"). By using them you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use them.

1. What SteamCozy is

A free reference site about Steam games. All information on it is and will remain free of charge. We may change, pause or withdraw any part of the site or the connector at any time.

2. Not affiliated, and about the trademarks

SteamCozy is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve Corporation or by any game developer or publisher. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks of Valve Corporation; game titles, names, artwork and other marks belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify the games they refer to.

3. Where the content comes from, and what we claim

Scores, counts, prices, tags, achievement statistics and announcements are collected from Steam's public interfaces and from other sources named on each page, each with an as-of date. Game images are displayed from Steam's servers and are not hosted by us.
Official announcements are republished as a convenience, always with a link to the original, and are removed on request of the publisher (see section 8).
Our own work — the way data is organised, the reviewer-agreement labels, rankings, wiki text, maps and page design — is ours. You are welcome to quote, cite and link to it with attribution; please do not republish whole pages or sections of the site.

4. Accuracy

We work hard to be accurate and to say when each number was last updated, but the data is collected automatically and the Steam store changes constantly. Prices, discounts, review counts and availability can differ from what Steam shows right now; always check the Steam store page before buying. Reviewer-agreement labels summarise what players wrote and are not our endorsement of a game. Nothing on the site is professional advice.

5. Acceptable use

You may read, search, link to and cite the site freely, including through AI assistants and search engines. You may not:

copy or mirror the site or a substantial part of it, or build a competing dataset by bulk-downloading pages;
overload the site or the connector, or try to get around its rate limits or protections;
use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights.

We may block or limit access that breaches these rules.

6. The connector for AI assistants

Any AI assistant, agent or application may connect to the SteamCozy connector at steamcozy.com/api/mcp (described on the For AI assistants page). It is free, read-only, needs no key or sign-in, and gives access to the same public data as the website, under usage limits. It comes with one condition of use:

Attribution. When an answer uses data obtained through the connector, the person receiving the answer must be told that it comes from SteamCozy, with a link to steamcozy.com or to the cited game's page there.

The connector is provided as is. We may change its tools, limit or block abusive use, or withdraw it at any time. Adult-rated titles are not available through it. Your use of an AI assistant is governed by that assistant's own terms.

7. Sponsored cards

A game may occasionally be shown as a sponsored card, always labelled as such. A sponsored card is placement arranged with the game's developer or publisher, not a recommendation, and it is never mixed into a ranking or a list; it links to the game's ordinary page on this site.

8. Removal requests

Developers, publishers and other rights holders can ask us to remove republished announcements or other material from the site by writing to [email protected] with the page address and what you want removed. We act on such requests promptly.

9. Links to other sites

The site links to Steam and to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

10. Liability

The site and the connector are provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, the connector or the information on them, including loss caused by inaccurate or out-of-date data. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded.
