INANIMA and LAMENTUM: Two Stories, One Universe
Many of you have asked us whether INANIMA is connected to LAMENTUM. The answer is yes. Both games share the same universe, although they tell different stories set in different periods of time.
In LAMENTUM, dark knowledge and an unholy pact opened the gates to a dark world. A nightmare dimension, layered over our own reality and invisible to those who inhabit it. A place where the Lamentos reign, ancient and powerful creatures whose existence lies beyond human understanding.
Have you seen this before?
Over time, that dark knowledge was forgotten. Yet even as its existence faded into the shadows, the lock that sealed the door remained, waiting. All it needed was a different key to open it.
And that key may be closer than you think.
As you explore INANIMA, keep your eyes open. There are clues scattered throughout the game that connect these two stories, and some are easy to miss. We won't tell you where to look or what to believe. Part of the fun is discovering it for yourselves!

INANIMA DEMO ANNOUNCEMENT!
We're happy to announce that the INANIMA demo will be available on October 26 during Steam Scream Fest.
The demo will take you alongside Jacob Miller as he takes his first steps inside SPIRA's facilities, a leading company in the research and development of food production and human nutrition technologies. Its latest experiment promises to help build a better future for humanity.
Jacob, our protagonist, has been selected to take part in SPIRA's Experimental Physical and Sensory Stimulation Program. For ten days, he will live alongside other participants in complete isolation, with no contact whatsoever with the outside world.
At least, that's what the invitation promises. What could possibly go wrong?
Prepare for ten days of complete isolation at our facilities.
