Hello Damned Souls.
It’s been a few weeks since we returned to hell with our new 2v2 race mode. It’s been amazing to hear all your feedback and see the joy (and chaos) returning to the climb. Today, we’re releasing a small hotfix patch to iron out the kinks and shave any rust on the chains that you have reported... Including returning the mechanics of a certain bouncy apparatus back to its previous form.
Yes, that’s right – the Trampoline has been tweaked! Please note that this is the first tweak, with more to follow in a future update based on your feedback, so please keep them coming. Additionally, the “super jump” in 2v2 Race Mode is intended behaviour, but should feel more in tune with what you’d expect.

General:
Tweaked the trampoline mechanics in relation to how Souls jump individually and as a group to return it to how it once was.
Race Mode:
Fixed an issue where Souls became unchained from each other. We can’t have that now, can we?
Fixed a momentary server-wide lag-spike after using a teleporter.
You can no longer share a car with the opposing team. Even in Hell, rules are rules!
Fixed an issue where a Soul’s body could become invisible when interacting with the car.
Fixed an issue where moving obstacles could become desynced if one team was a distance behind the opposing team.
Removed the ‘nearest safe location’ pop-up. Nowhere is safe!
Thank you once again for all your support in this new chapter of Chained Together. We can’t wait to reveal more about the things we’re forging... It’s going to be devilishly chaotic!
