Hey everyone, I'm going to keep this short because I'd rather work on the game than spend any time writing these updates. I had bit of a multi-month burnout meltdown from December forwards but I'm making more progress now, adding side quests and other content to the five new areas. This update basically has more bullshit I have to deal with than the entire Cruelty Squad EA dev cycle. After this I will focus on fleshing out the earlier areas of the game and adding side content.
Recent additions (last two weeks or so):
The chapter 2 main quest is completable finally, including a cutscene.
Daily event system for events triggered on specific dates, or when specific conditions are reached.
One side quest, two more in mostly complete state.
New enemy type.
Crossbow and some other weapons.
Stuff that needs work before release:
Complete the unfinished side quests, add some more.
Add items etc. to find.
Properly implement the new weapon upgrade system.
Balance level up system a bit.
Add more detail to some of the levels.
So there's not that much that needs to be done left, I'm quite tired of working on this section of the game so I'll probably opt to do more polish post-update. I also need to work on the gambling minigame more but it's not 100% necessary for releasing the update at this point.
