Please, Don't Touch Anything 2025 Refresh Update

Wow! It's been 9 years since the last update to Please, Don't Touch Anything on Steam. There's an entire generation of gamers who haven't taken a turn at solving the fiendishly mind-bending puzzles, and we wanted to take a moment to update the classic game to ensure it runs great on current Windows and Mac systems.

We've also taken the opportunity to move to the current version of GameMaker, and clean up some bugs that have been bothering us for.. well.. years.

This refresh update will also make it easier to push new updates in the future. We've got a few ideas...

General Changes & Fixes

Updated to latest version of GameMaker
Updated to latest Steamworks SDK and API
Fixed various missing art elements across the game
Added missing animation frame in Bender Ending
Updated deprecated effects used in some endings to use more modern effects
Fixed bug where game would snap back to first monitor when using dual monitors
Fixed custom cursor missing issues
Pressed the red button (Sorry...)

Platform-Specific Changes

Windows

Updated to support Windows 10 & 11

MacOS

Updated to support MacOS 10.14+
Game updated to run on modern Apple Silicon hardware
