We've made some quality-of-life improvements to our beloved game, Champy the Useless Vampire, and fixed a few issues along the way. We're committed to keeping this little gem undead for a long time, continuing to refine and improve it.

If you spot anything that isn't working as intended, let us know in the forums! While we can't fix everything, we always give it our best shot—and most of the time, the issues get resolved.

Fixes
The game got stuck when pushing the inventory button in certain closeups and zoom-in puzzles.
There was a bug with the bird that made Champy walk out of frame and get stuck in a loop.
Dialogues sometimes did not progress correctly when one line was skipped.

Steam only:
The Steam achievement “Master Puzzler” is now possible to get if you start a new game even if you failed it the first time

Added a choice in the settings to enable subtitles background (default: enabled)
Added a point of interest in the pub scene
Added a point of interest in the hallway scene
Added a name to the Credits

Adjusted the size and position of Champy’s subtitles frame
Adjusted position for some character’s text frames
Adjusted Bat flightpath in Hallway
Adjusted the Secret Society Puzzle maximum moves from 5 to 7
Adjusted the Museum Puzzle combination and visual hint
Adjusted a SFX in the balcony scene
Adjusted the z-value for Inky’s aquarium
Adjusted small timings and animations in the boss-battle
