“Fun chess roguelike, it gives enough variation and difficulty to keep things interesting for a while. Can get a real good kick out of starting with an army of explosive queens. It also gives you a fair amount of retries to balance out bad RNG, but sometimes you are just screwed…”

“Not a bad chess-roguelike mix, however it does get boring quite quickly mainly because the chess board gets cluttered in a way that is not always fun and challenging, but rather tidieous. In overall I would still recommend the game as it has its fun moments that align well with…”

“I like the game, but it is unplayable after level 15. Its the same identical levels, just with less pieces and options. Means it all comes down to a less than 1% chance of a perfect randomly generated play through which allows you to win. Balance issues.”
