Multiplayer Issues — Fish Hero News

There are instabilities within the multiplayer lobby system that affect a small percentage of users. Our network solution has limitations for players connecting from:

Distant geographical locations relative to the hosts game/lobby
Certain combinations of NAT types

This issue impacts a small percentage of users attempting to connect over long geographical distances or users with a Strict NAT type on the host's game.

If you encounter these issues, we recommend using

- a proxy or VPN to match your network geolocation with that of the host,
or
- allowing another user to host the game/lobby with an Open or Moderate NAT type.
