The Humane Society of the United States — Stray Cats in Cozy Town News

We'd like to announce that the Humane Society (https://www.humanesociety.org) has been chosen to receive the funds from our Stray Cats in Cozy Town DLC campaign!

The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is a mainstream voice for animals, with active programs in companion animals, wildlife and habitat protection, animals in research, and farm animals. Together with its affiliates, HSUS works across the nation and around the world to protect all animals through legislation, litigation, investigations, education, science, advocacy, and fieldwork. HSUS also rescues and cares for thousands of animals each year, but its primary mission is to prevent cruelty before it occurs. Net proceeds from the game (sales less local sales tax, less Steam percentage) will be directed to life-saving programs for animals, permanently.

This decision was made with input from our amazing Discord community, who suggested the Humane Society as a worthy recipient of our fundraising efforts. Your participation and love for our feline friends played a crucial role in making this happen. Thank you all for your incredible support and for helping us make a difference in the lives of cats in need.

Our latest game, Stray Cats in Cozy Town, is a hidden-object adventure where we invite you to be part of a community where every cat is respected, loved, and fed. This game will be a short experience, aimed to celebrate International Cat Day on August 8th.
