New Content

Balance Changes

• Increased the active time of a spear by 0.2s for the first two salvos.
  
• Reduced the maximum count of bee hazards that can be spawned by a single Bee enemy to 5 [was 11].
  
• For the hard challenge preset, reduced the levels of "Attribute" and "Bankrupt" to 2 [were both 3].
  
  • The hard preset is still >50 heat and therefore still qualifies for the achievement.
    
• "Agility Buff" buffed (lol).
  
  • -0.15s dash cooldown [was -0.1s].
    
  • New: +1s invincibility duration.
    
  • Upgraded: New: +0.5s invincibility duration.

Gameplay Changes

• You can now dash while running into a wall.
  
• You can now also dash with shift or ctrl.
  
• Can now no longer dash while dashing meaning the player will be vulnerable for at least 1 frame every 0.2s.
  
• Coins gained by the miniboss will now ignore combos.
  
• While owning "Amulet of Patience", skipped waves when there are no enemies left will now decrease the combo amount further.
  
• The "Right Heart" (auto-regen) will now try to do it's passive ability after the player received RP from the final boss or from empty waves instead of before. This means that gained RP will be used immediately.
  

Visual Changes

• Cards displaying upgraded augments will now have a more detailed outline than their non-upgraded counterparts.
  
• Added a "2x dmg" indicator for the double damage challenge. If the challenge is set to lvl 1 this will only appear if the next hit will deal double damage.
  
• There is a new animation for starting the enemy turn: The camera will zoom in and most UI elements (except for keybinds and the salvo timer) will disappear.
  
  • Although this will reduce the total amount of visible space, this will hopefully make reading attacks easier/less annoying, especially for the Racket salvo from above.
    
• Also added more animations for the intro of a fight.
  
• Introduced more consistency between the agility icon and its meaning.
  
  • The "Agility Upgrade" (the one that gives you more shards) has been renamed to "Stamina Upgrade". The animation now says "Stamina Up!".
    
  • The "Agility Buff" (the one that increases your speed) now has a new icon that looks like a feather.
    
  • The previous icon for the "Agility Buff" is now used as the icon for the new "Stamina Buff" for shards (see section "New Content").
    

Quality of Life

• Added progress bars below each challenge in the main menu that indicate to what level they're set to.
  
• You can now flip cards displaying augments to display the upgraded/non-upgraded version.
  
  • This feature will work for shops, chests, Firework City, and in the main menu during level ups.
    
• Made it possible to select the augment list in Firework City.
  
• You can now scroll through the augments at the bottom during a fight.
  

Miscellaneous

• Fixed the lag spike when opening the customization menu for the first time after startup.
  
• Added an option for limiting the game's fps. The default is 165.
  

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an exception when the player has more RP than can be displayed.
  
• Fixed an exception when the Unity Analytics fail to initialize.
  
• Fixed the current charge/cooldown icons during a fight going off-center if there are too many of them.
  
• Fixed the player being able to go out of bounds on low framerates.
  
• Fixed being able to open the pause menu during the fight intro animation or a scene transition.
  
• Fixed being able to open the pause menu at all times by opening the Steam overlay or unplugging the controller.
  
• "Overcharge" augment will now display the cooldown progress bar correctly.
  
• Fixed dashing into the wall with a controller redirecting your velocity to the side.
  
• You can now no longer buy an item if it would decrease your max health to 0 or below.
  
• Fixed not being able to hold down a directional button for automatic repeat presses while in the pause menu.
