Post Release updates and controller changes — SCP: Descent News

A portion of the playerbase has been experiencing issues with their mouse and or console controller not working with the game.

While not ideal, an in game fix has been added to the opening movement prompt for those who cannot look around with the mouse. (Esc>Settings>Switch invert mouse on and off)
We have added this so that people can continue playing the game while we look into the issue.

For those who were looking to play with a controller, we have currently "removed support" on the steampage so as to not disappoint future players while we investigate the issue. We will reinstate this support when the problem has been fixed. For those who purchased the game hoping for controller support, we understand if you don't want to wait for this fix and instead want a refund. We will post an update when we can confirm all players can use a controller. For those wanting to try using their XBox/Playstation controller now however, it may still work for you we just cannot guarantee it.
