Day 1 Patch: Vignette, Quest Link, & More — Journey to Foundation News

Hello players! We have released a Day 1 patch that addresses a few issues that came up from players. Please read below for more information.

Vignette Setting
A few players reported that turning the vignette settings off in-game were not fully removing a vignette from the field of view. This was confirmed on at least two headsets: Meta Quest 3 and Pimax Crystal.

We have made an update to ensure that turning off the vignette in-game removes any vignette from the headset lenses.

SteamUI Language
The game is available in multiple languages (fully voice acted) and on-screen subtitles. We have made an update that allows the game to read the SteamUI language if it has been set. Previously, language (when available for the game) was determined by the Windows language setting.

Quest Link
We have made an update that allows Quest Link users to play the game directly without launching SteamVR.

Bug Fixes
We have fixed some visual bugs in Chapter 5.
