- HUD not being scaled correctly
- Controls not being binded correctly
- Wrong portrait being used for the girl
And don't worry, I'm aware of all of the other bugs and balancing issues and the rest should be coming in a huge update this week!
Now unfortunately, while your save data should remain intact, this does mean that your unlockable difficulties are now reset, but fear not! It should be very easy to fix, here are two step by step methods to unlock them!
METHOD ONE:
- Open the game
- Close the game, a new section in the .ini file should now be created
- Open the game directory, and open the gzdoom_portable.ini file in notepad
- Ctrl F "TMNormalClear", you should now see three difficulties:
- TMHardClear=0
- TMNormalClear=0
- TMOneHitClear=0
If you beat the game on normal, set TMNormalClear from 0 to 1, if you beat the game on hard, set both TMNormalClear and TMHardClear from 0 to 1 and if you beat all three difficulties, set TMHardClear, TMNormalClear and TMOneHitClear from 0 to 1!
Your unlocks should now be available.
METHOD TWO:
- Launch a new game and take the elevator to the new level
- Warp to the final map by opening the console with the ` key and typing "MAP MAP07"
- Open the console again, turn on god mode and noclip by typing "god" and "noclip"
- Noclip to the front door where the final boss is
- Just as you pass the front door, turn off noclip so the cutscene (and the boss) activates
- Open the console again and type "Kill Mae"
- The final boss is now defeated and you've unlocked the next difficulty!
- Repeat this with the next difficulty if needed
