I just want to thank you for buying the game, and for those of you that have been unable to run it, we again apologize and are working on getting it resolved as soon as possible. We are committed to getting it running on every supported machine, and I want to thank all the people that have sent their crash logs, it has been a real help.
One important thing I want to point out is that your hardware and computer specs are not a factor. From all the reporting we’ve received, the game-breaking memory leaks are happening only on some Windows machines, irrespective of specs. However, we have identified the problem and are working on a solution.
If you are experiencing the same problems cited by folks here and you are running the game on a Mac, please reach out.
I will also be posting updates here regarding meaningful patch progress, in the meantime I want to thank you for your patience and understanding.
