The team have been working tirelessly to rectify issues reported by the community and we will be submitting an update for all platforms in the new year.
For PC players on Steam, we have enabled a public beta to preview the update before it goes live. See the thread below for the list of fixes and details on how to access the beta on Steam:
Update Notes
Significant polish and updates to the game including fixing camera issues, controller issues and updates to UI. Addressed issues reported by the community including:
- Online multiplayer connectivity.
- Adjusting the level player-controlled vehicle respawning - this was strategically updated throughout the game.
- Improvements have been made to airplane handling for keyboard and mouse.
- Fixed level unlock issues.
- Fixed the instant defeat/level win on level 3.
- Fixes have been made to improve consistent 60 FPS in the single-player campaign.
How to access the Public Beta
Follow these steps to access the update via the public beta:
- Right-click on the Toy Soldiers: HD tile in your Steam library
- Select Properties
- Select Betas
- On the dropdown menu select 'PublicBeta'
- The update will then start to download to your PC.
- Please report any issues in the Feedback/Support subforum or on the Signal Studios Discord
- You can opt-out of the Beta at any time by repeating the steps above and selecting Betas 'None'.
