Update: Steam account linking and save/load related issues — The Spike News

Hello, this is developer Osik.

I'm aware that there were a lot of bugs after the recent update; such as not being able to link your Steam account, or an error message pops up after you recruit a new player because the game won't save and load the data properly.

This update will fix progress loss issues by changing the save location to local rather than cloud. If you have lost players you previously recruited, please send an e-mail at [email protected] and we will help you recover your data and compensate you.

Also, we believe that the new version of the Steam SDK is causing the account issues; we reverted it to the old version so we expect there won't be more problems linking your Steam account.

Finally, we fixed the graphical glitches. Graphics will no longer crash when switching to full screen.

For other problems, we're still investigating the cause and working to resolve it. Please allow us some more time.
