Read the original on Steam ↗On October 10th, Infested Planet will be getting a massive update. The new "Planetary Campaign" DLC will add randomly generated campaigns to the game.
You start out outnumbered by the enemy and with primitive technology. As you fight battles and conquer the map, you can unlock new technology to use in tactical portion of the game.
The tech progression is unique for every single campaign, so you have to be flexible in what weapons you use. Even Infested Planet veterans will find some new tech that's exclusive to the DLC.
Of course, it wouldn't be Infested Planet if the enemy didn't mutate to counter your tactics. The aliens analyse your play style, evolve campaign mutations and force you to adapt.
