Chairmen, full speed ahead.
You can now lead your company into the automotive industry and build a new business legend. Competition between companies is fiercer, too: entering this industry means facing more ruthless rivals. We have also opened our first Steam Workshop category, for car blueprints. You can now create your own mods or download them from the Workshop to add more 3D models.
Since setting up our community groups, we have received a wealth of timely, valuable feedback. This update fixes many known bugs and issues affecting the player experience, and adds more automation options to make the late game smoother.
Car Business
The car business demands substantial investment and long-term development, with “Mileage” as its core resource. Early on, you must keep selling cars to earn “Mileage”, then invest it in component “Mastery” to reduce costs. Producing the same model in large quantities also lowers production costs through economies of scale. Five listed automakers now have active business operations and compete directly with you in the car market. Your achievements in in-house operating systems, chips and AI will help you get ahead of your rivals.
We have also created better product launch presentations for both the phone and car businesses.
Home to the World Championship, Bayside Circuit has been renovated, making the whole venue livelier and more visually appealing. Both circuits have received performance improvements and now load faster.
Factory Capacity
Factory capacity is now managed as one shared pool. Phones can use spare capacity directly, while chips and cars each require dedicated production lines created from that spare capacity. In existing saves, capacity already allocated to chips will automatically become chip production lines.
Chips no longer receive the capacity bonuses provided by phone technology, so you may notice a reduction in chip production capacity.
Land bought on the “World” map is no longer subject to the limit of 9,000,000 units of capacity per factory. Its maximum capacity now depends on the size of the plot.
Gameplay Changes
1. Reduced the “Manipulation Suspicion” accumulated by manipulating races.
2. Upgraded company factories and office buildings now contribute to their valuation. Company-owned race cars, real estate, buildings, AI facilities and other assets also contribute a proportion of their value to net assets, which help determine financing valuations and market capitalization after listing.
3. Companies can now make deposits and investments. Open “Capital & Competitive Intelligence” at the top right of the company home page, then select “Treasury”.
4. We have adjusted automatic mode in the AI model department after a model reaches AGI. “Profit First” on the “Training Bench” has been replaced by “Balanced Mode”. It first serves market demand as fully as possible while maximizing profit, then automatically directs all remaining computing power into model training.
5. Updated the description and unlock requirements for the “Risen From the Ashes” achievement.
6. During practice in 3D scenes, “Restart” now preserves vehicle damage. Restarting is unavailable during races.
Quality-of-Life Improvements
1. Improved the ease of allocating computing power in the “AI Foundation Model Department” and clarified the accompanying explanations.
2. All 12-month term deposits can now be set to renew automatically, without withdrawing the funds and depositing them again.
3. The “Resource Management” page is now available at the bottom right of “Network”, bringing your contacts’ resources together so you can quickly find what you need. You can also configure automatic upkeep of “Affinity” with selected contacts, as well as automatic use of any of their “Resources”.
4. Improved compatibility in several input fields, so you will no longer get stuck on “0”.
5. The phone and car product design pages now each offer 12 “Saved designs” slots. Save completed designs and apply them with one click at any time, without designing the same product all over again.
Bug Fixes
1. Improved frame rates and reduced resource usage in racing scenes.
2. Fixed a bug that prevented private poker games from settling immediately after opponents were wiped out.
3. Fixed a bug that caused large swings in phone sales when the world population became extremely large.
4. Fixed a bug that caused large swings in user numbers after an AI model reached AGI.
5. Fixed a bug that imposed a numerical limit on gold bars in the “Private Vault”.
6. Fixed a bug where notification cards overlapped with certain story scenes and blocked interaction.
7. Fixed a bug that prevented vehicle damage from being recorded correctly during practice.
What’s Next:
The next update will focus on capital-market gameplay. We will deepen market manipulation, making it more strategic and challenging, so more careful planning may be needed. NPCs will become more aggressive and more likely to launch short squeezes against your short positions, so tread carefully. You will also be able to negotiate directly with individual NPCs to acquire the publicly tradable shares they hold, instead of waiting for them to decide to sell.
