⚔️ WHAT’S NEW
👑 AZAELITH – NEW MISSIONS
Azaelith has more work for you: 3 new missions, with Hailstorm and Rift as rewards. Some of them test how well you can use Rift, and one asks you to keep a kill streak going without taking a hit.
❄️ NEW WEAPON – HAILSTORM

Hailstorm is a frost staff. Every swing fires a burst of ice shards that freeze enemies in place. Its two mastery upgrades let you build around it:
Frost Crown – Shard hits charge up crystals around the staff. When it’s fully charged, your next swing sends out shards that pierce without limit and burst into frost at every enemy they pass through.
Shatter Lance – That same swing also hurls a piercing ice lance that deals double damage to frozen enemies.
🌀 NEW SPELL – RIFT

Open a rift where you aim, and it pulls nearby enemies toward its center for a few seconds. Bunch the horde up, then unload on it. It pairs well with any AoE weapon or spell.
Both come with their own in-run cards.
🎃 HALLOWEEN IS BACK 🎃
Just in time for Scream Fest, Halloween is back: tormented enemies wear pumpkin heads again. If you’d rather keep Hell pumpkin-free, you can turn it off with the Halloween setting.
🛠️ FIXES
💾 Your saves are safer now
Some of you told us about corrupted saves that crashed the game on launch, and trial results that vanished after a crash. Losing progress is the worst, and we’re really sorry to everyone it happened to. We’ve rebuilt how saving works:
A crash or power cut in the middle of a save can no longer break your save file.
The game now keeps backups of your save. If something does go wrong, it quietly restores the last good one.
If the game closes before you get back to the menu after a trial, your results are still kept.
A small icon in the top-right corner shows when the game is saving, so you know when it’s safe to quit.
🔫 The ammo bug is (finally) squashed
This one has been haunting us for a while. Splinter and Scorchjaw could lose usable ammo during a trial. Last time we could only make it happen less often, but this time we tracked down the real cause and fixed it. Thanks to everyone who kept reporting it, your reports are what helped us find it! If it ever shows up again, please let us know.
🃏 Missing cards are back
The weapon cards for Shellshock, Leash and Impaler had gone missing from the card pool. They’ll show up in your trials again.
🧯 Fewer crashes
Fixed a few crashes that could happen with enemy AI and while loading into a new map.
Fixed a crash in the equipment menu that some older save files could cause.
Texture streaming now keeps within your graphics card’s memory, which should especially help players on lower-end GPUs.
🚀 PERFORMANCE
We gave some of the heaviest effects a diet, including several spell and ice VFX. Big fights should run smoother now, with fewer frame drops when the screen fills up.
