Greetings Coiners!
Bugfix Day is here, and we've fixed some critical issues!
To all Coiners affected by these bugs, we want to thank you for reaching out and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and any lost in-game credits.
An extra heartfelt apology goes out to our Japanese Coiners, who were particularly affected by a language-related bug in Arcade mode, on top of the other issues.
We hope to make it up to you with these fixes, along with more quality-of-life and performance improvements.
This update also brings balancing changes to several levels, Arcade gameplay, Perk Shop prices, and the scaling of Perk abilities.
Looking ahead, we're planning even more balancing adjustments, quality-of-life improvements, and, of course, new levels!
What Did We Fix?
Zen Level 41 – Boombox: This level was broken in the previous update. Coiners who bought into the level were met with a black screen, preventing them from playing and resulting in lost credits. This is now fixed.
Arcade Blackjack 21: Fixed a language-related bug that caused the game loop to break when Japanese was selected, preventing Coiners from continuing and resulting in lost credits.
Arcade Blackjack 21 – Button Navigation: Fixed the auto-cancel functionality for Arcade buttons when using a gamepad or keyboard. Previously, Coiners were forced to activate a button once it was selected.
Arcade Coin Tilt: The previous update replaced the earthquake-style effect with an actual machine-tilting mechanic. Unfortunately, this didn't work correctly for some Coiners. Coin Tilt should now be working as intended again.
Cookie Coin: This delicious little troublemaker was quite the performance hog, especially on lower-end systems. We've optimized it to be much less demanding.
Zen Level 55 – Zen Garden: Lanterns were excessively bright. Their brightness has been brought back to normal levels.
Zen Level 54 – The New Generation: Restored the coin insert mechanism from the incorrect 'Open' type to the intended 'Slotted' type.
Post-Game Over: Fixed a soft-lock that could occur when pressing the Back button after the Game Over counting screen.
Improvements
The New Generation: Small tweaks and improvements to machine colliders (hitboxes).
Boombox: Completely reworked the Day and Night scene lighting across all quality settings. Higher quality settings now benefit from volumetric rendering, with improved lighting overall.
Arcade Wheel of Fortune (WOF): The Arcade button panel now automatically pops up when collecting an Arcade token.
Arcade Blackjack 21: Adjusted the default starting camera position to prevent the Arcade UI buttons and physical machine buttons from competing for screen space.
Zen Garden – Night Scene: Additional lighting tweaks and refinements.
Rebalancing
We've made several balancing adjustments to improve gameplay, progression, and the overall risk/reward experience.
Zen Mode
Level 16: Coin setup, physics, pusher speed, and cost/profit adjustments.
Levels 51, 52, 53, and 55: Cost/profit adjustments.
Classic Mode
Levels 51 and 55: Cost/profit adjustments.
Perk Shop
Adjusted Perk prices and the scaling of several Perk abilities.
Arcade Mode
General gameplay balancing, including cost/profit and timing adjustments.
So, dear Coiners, we hope these fixes help restore your confidence in the game and give you a chance to win back some of those lost credits!

Good luck, and cheers!
