Happy 2 year anniversary to Rivals 2 and our amazing community! After another huge year of updates including new characters, items, casual stages, workshop, tutorials, events, and tons of engine improvements - it's nice to take a look at how far we've come since launch.

By the Numbers
We passed 100 million games played this year! Fire Rivals still reign as the most popular, but this year the forces of good have pulled ahead with Zetterburn surpassing Loxodont as the second most popular character.
Over 6,000 Rivals 2 brackets ran on start.gg between last year's anniversary and this one. The stats on the second image only feature numbers for events on the R2CS circuit.
Since the workshop beta launched, over 2,000 creations have been uploaded as creators have tinkered with characters and items.
Two Year Anniversary Items
To celebrate our anniversary in style, we're releasing a FREE 2 Year Anniversary bundle. It features a Year 2 icon design and a Workshop Icon design. Collect them in the Featured Shop for free to commemorate two years of Rivals 2!
What's Next for Rivals 2?
We've only got a little bit left to cross off for this year until our roadmap is complete for 2026. Here's a reminder on what players can look forward to next year, including our first guest character, Mina the Hollower!
