Added HOTAS / Joystick support
A much requested feature has been HOTAS support. I didn’t own a joystick, but recently bought one and implemented support for it. When you connect your joystick, you might need to do some setup first in the keybindings screen, as all joysticks are a bit different.
Improved part rebindings
Per-part rebinding (engine, rotator and decoupler) didn’t really work well with controllers. I addressed this by fully reworking the rebinding of individual parts. It now has separate bindings for each device.
Share your feedback
Controller and joystick support is somewhat hard for me to test. I only own a single controller type and a single HOTAS type, so I’m not fully sure how it works for other devices. If you find any issues, please let me know in the comments of this blog.
Small changes
- Added rotation for fuel tanks
- Added volume settings for the timed cargo clock
- Fixed virtual cursor not working
