Admonition scholars have uncovered an ancient ritual buried deep within their foul, heretic tomes. Using these fell rites, they have bound a powerful daemon into a Daemonhost. Agents report that this new horror seems to appear when others of its kin are slain.
Emboldened by the dreaded Daemonhost Gormaggoth’s presence, the streets are plagued with lesser Daemonhosts. Seek them out and destroy them.
Starting today until November 5, participate in the event by playing missions with the ‘Hunted’ condition, and destroy the Daemonhosts.
Beware, the Daemonhost Gormaggoth has an ever-increasing chance of appearing for every one of its kin you slay. Uncover more about the origin of these heretical abominations as you battle this terrible foe.
This event has two forms of progression!
Killing Daemonhosts in missions with the ‘Hunted’ condition will progress your personal event tracker, which rewards you with Dockets, Diamantine, Plasteel, and this brand new Weapon Charm:
Dealing damage to the dreaded Daemonhost Gormaggoth will advance a community event tracker, which every player contributes to! This rewards the entire playerbase with Dockets, Diamantine and Plasteel, as well as unlocking new lore short stories (written by Dan Abnett!) with each step.
If the community racks up enough damage, the Daemonhost Gormaggoth will be slain for good, unlocking this brand new Portrait frame:
Hotfix 1.13.4 is now being rolled out on all platforms, and while you wait for it to download you can read the notes below!

Cosmetic Fixes
Fixed some clipping with Drill Fatigues (Cadian 43rd, Broken Swords, XXXXL)
Known Issues
Scab and Dreg Vanguard enemies currently have slightly more health than intended.Fixed!
We’ve also got some comments on a few of the changes we’ve done in the last few updates:
Corruption Damage Change
In the previous Hotfix (1.13.3) we changed how Corruption Damage is dealt. Previously, corruption damage alone couldn't outright kill you. This was only ever intended for Grimoire damage, and so we 'fixed' it for other damage sources. However, we understand that this is being relied upon by many as a feature, and so we'll keep an extra close eye on this.
Servo-Skull Damage Nerf
In the Depths of the Damned Update (1.13.0) the Servo-Skull had its Strength reduced from 160 to 100. This was an internal change that was meant to go live with the release of Skitarii in 1.12.0, meaning this was the original intended power level of the Servo-Skull, which instead went live on 1.13.0.
This brings us to today. Although the Servo-Skull now has the initially intended Strength, we are re-evaluating if the nerf was justified and are considering further balance adjustments to both it and the Noospheric Command Talent.
That’s all for today!
We’ll see you on the Mourningstar.
