We are excited to introduce another substantial update to Spirit Animal Survival, bringing an entirely new progression system, an expanded starting storyline, new enemies, exciting rewards, and numerous gameplay and performance improvements.
Your survival is no longer just about gathering resources and crafting equipment. It is about discovering forgotten knowledge, mastering new skills, rebuilding your civilization, and preparing for the ultimate confrontation with Lord Nephelium.
Introducing the Discovery Tree
Your Progress, Your Choices!
The way you progress through Spirit Animal Survival is changing!
Our brand-new Discovery Tree introduces a progression system where leveling up and earning Discovery Points allows you to decide which items, structures, equipment, and abilities you want to unlock.
Rather than having everything available from the beginning, you will now gradually discover new possibilities as your character grows stronger.
The Discovery Tree features six specialized progression paths:
Weapons: Unlock increasingly powerful weapons as you progress.
Armor: Discover new armor equipment to improve your protection.
Construction Tiers: Unlock new building tiers and individual construction components, including foundations, walls, stairs, doors, ceilings, and more.
Transportation: Gain access to new transportation options as you advance.
Witchcraft: Discover mystical knowledge, recipes, and supernatural possibilities.
Villagers: Expand your possibilities for rebuilding settlements and developing your community.
Every Discovery Point matters!
Leveling up opens new opportunities, but deciding where to invest your points is entirely up to you. Will you prioritize weapons and armor, develop your settlement, or explore the mysteries of Witchcraft?

A New Beginning – Escape from Nephelium's Realm!
Your adventure now begins with a deeper connection to the world and its history.
For generations, your ancestors lived in a beautiful land surrounded by forests, mountains, lakes, and abundant wildlife.
But that peace was shattered when Lord Nephelium's hordes invaded your ancestral village.
Homes were burned, warriors were slaughtered, and countless innocent villagers were dragged through an evil portal into the terrifying realm of Nephelium, condemned to slavery in its infernal mines.
You were among those captured.
But your destiny was different.
Guided by the ancient Animal Spirits, you managed to overcome your captors and escape through a mysterious portal, returning to the world of your ancestors.
Unfortunately, your escape is only the beginning.

The land surrounding your arrival is not safe!
Your first challenge is to survive the dangerous starting area, where Gronk and his Gnome guards stand in your way.

Your ultimate mission is to rescue enslaved villagers, build a thriving and defensible settlement, recruit warriors, conquer dangerous dungeon realms, and gain the powers of the Spirit Animals.
Only then may you become powerful enough to challenge Lord Nephelium himself.

Improved Swimming Mechanics
We've continued refining player movement, with particular attention to the swimming experience.
This update introduces improvements to swimming behavior and movement, creating a smoother and more enjoyable experience when exploring rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water.
Whether you're crossing dangerous waters or exploring new territories, movement should now feel more natural and responsive.
Performance and Optimization Improvements
Spirit Animal Survival features an enormous world filled with wildlife, environments, settlements, creatures, and countless opportunities for exploration.
We continue working to make this world run more efficiently.
This update includes:
General performance optimizations.
Improvements intended to reduce unnecessary processing overhead.
Gameplay adjustments for a smoother overall experience.
Additional refinements to various game systems.
Performance optimization remains an ongoing priority as we continue expanding the game.
Multiplayer and Server List Improvements
We've also made adjustments to the multiplayer server list and related systems.
These improvements aim to make browsing and discovering available servers more reliable and convenient.
We will continue improving the multiplayer experience as development progresses.
Additional Gameplay Improvements
Beyond the major features listed above, this update includes numerous smaller refinements, adjustments, and improvements throughout the game.
We are continuously refining existing mechanics while preparing additional content, creatures, adventures, and challenges for future updates.
