Program "Geister" is an experiment in convergent hallucinatory therapy designed to amplify unforeseen side effects of the Trials. 

Surviving subjects will learn to contribute to a morally hygienic Trial Environment through biohazard collection. Complete the secondary objective for extra rewards. 

Variators: 

• HARVEST ORGAN SAMPLES - Find deceased reagents and harvest organ samples for analysis. 

• HALLUCINATIONS? - Side effect, trauma or something else? 

• MORE IMPOSTERS - More imposters in the Trial. 

GEISTER CATALOG

• A brand new Catalog is available for the duration of the Limited-Time Event. 

• Players can spend their acquired Event Tokens in the Catalog to unlock exclusive rewards. 

• Once the event concludes, the Catalog will be removed and any unused Event Tokens will be forfeited. Be sure to spend your Event Tokens before the end of the event on December 8 at 10am ET.

New Community Event: ESCAPE THE FACILITY

Help Amelia! Reagents must find Escape Intel Schematics and leave the Trials with them in their inventory. Every phase of the Community Event unlocks exclusive rewards for participating Reagents. Reaching each milestone phase will get you one step closer to the possibility of Escape.

New MK-Challenge: COMPEL THE CHILDREN

You are the gentle prayer, the shame ingested and repeated until it feels like your own, and becomes a vector of further infection. Pray for the children, and we will let you out. 

This MK-Challenge will be featured in Phase 1 of the Geister Program and is avaialable in GENESIS.

New MK-Challenge: SANITIZE THE FACTORY

You are the rain, a drop in the flood that will nourish the earth, drown the wicked, and cleanse the filth. Sanitize the factory and we will let you out.

This MK-Challenge will be featured in Phase 2 of the Geister Program and is available in GENESIS.

Escalation Therapy Changes

• Rebalanced the difficulty curve of Escalation Therapy for a smoother progression: 

  • Tier 1 (Trials #1–20): Build your character. 

  • Tier 2 (Trials #21–30): Put your character to the test. 

  • Tier 3 (Trials #31+): Enter the endgame. 

• Added a new permanent Variator starting at Trial #31: 

  • BREAKING POINT. A collection of punishing modifiers. Deadly enemies. Scarce resources. No second chances. Rigs don't recharge. And more. Push your mental and physical limits. 

• Revive Syringes and Revive Pills can now be acquired during Intermission item selection. 

• Retouched several Escalation Therapy Tasks to better align with the new progression. 

Favorites Feature

You can now mark any customization item as a favorite. Use the Favorites filter in both your Cell Customization and Reagent Customization Menus to quickly find and equip your preferred items. Now you can easily assemble your preferred outfits for any occasion.

Additions/Fixes/Balancing 

• The “Geister 2025” Catalog is now available for purchase in the Murkoff Store. 

• Added new Weeklies to the Weekly Escalation pool. 

• Reagent customization is now preserved after Relapses, except after the first Relapse. 

• Lock Breaker Amp: Bricks now break instantly after unlocking a padlocked container or door. 

• Reagents can now look behind them while assisting teammates in the Incapacitated or Dead state. 

• Added a setting to enable or disable the new controller minigame feature. 

• Trials adjustments: 

  • Fund the Campaign: Reworked the escape phase difficulty and exit timer based on objective completion. 

  • Eliminate the Past: Reworked the escape phase difficulty and exit timer based on objective completion. 

  • Battery Stations no longer count as light areas for player detection. 

• Other general fixes and improvements.
