Hello! This is LIGHTERSGAMES. Sure, the Admin was never great at managing things, but we didn't think it was THIS bad! (Of course, that's on us. Heh.) We're working hard on fixes. They aren't in this update yet, but we're also improving stages that were inconvenient or whose intent was just too hard to figure out! We'd love for more people to discover the game... but it's not easy :( It's tough out there! In 1.0.6, we've polished rotation mode and puzzle usability, and fixed a Fatal Error that occurred on some systems.
🎮 Quality of Life
Entering rotation mode no longer resets an object's rotation. Instead, it now snaps to the nearest 45-degree angle from its current orientation. To return the rotation to its original state, hold the R key.
Pressing a button that is still operating and can't be used again yet now plays a separate sound, so you can easily tell it isn't ready.
🧩 Puzzles & Levels
1-20: Improved the level design of the pinball stage. We hope you can now focus more on the intended puzzle solution than on the ball's random movement.
1-14: Made the puzzle less demanding to play.
1-18: Improved glass frames and magnetic field frames blocking the view of puzzle objects.
Slightly increased the transformation speed of objects that need to be transformed quickly in some puzzles.
Fixed geometry buttons in some puzzles registering answers incorrectly.
In the final stage of Chapter 3, it's now easier to tell when a shape doesn't fit.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Progression & Puzzles
1-13: Fixed some buttons not responding.
1-19: Fixed an issue where you could unintentionally fall in some areas.
2-9: Improved an issue where the player could get stuck on a background object.
Fixed some puzzle objects getting caught in glass and flying off in late Chapter 3 stages.
Fixed some puzzle elements not resetting along with the stage when using stage reset or a reset button.
Improved an issue where some puzzle objects did not appear. However, we haven't yet pinned down the cause, so if this happens to you again, please let us know.
UI
Fixed the credits not playing in some situations.
Stability
Fixed a Fatal Error caused by a conflict between the NPU built into some CPUs and an Unreal Engine plugin. This fix has not been fully tested yet, so if you have an NPU and run into the same problem, please let us know.
⚠️ Known Issues
We are still tracking down Fatal Errors that occur on systems without an NPU. We're sorry we haven't been able to fix this sooner. We are currently focusing on a possible conflict with custom overclocking settings.
📮 How to Report Issues
If you run into a problem, please send us the files below via Discord or a shared link such as Google Drive. It helps a lot in tracking down the cause.
Press Win + R on your keyboard, enter %LOCALAPPDATA%ThanksLightSaved and click OK.
In the folder that opens, compress the Crashes and Logs folders together. The Crashes folder is created when the game closes unexpectedly.
Upload the compressed file to our official Discord (the Discord button in the game's main menu) or send us a drive link. It's even better if you also tell us when and in what situation the problem occurred.
