In only a few short days, more than 60,000 players have fought their way through hordes of enemies in an attempt to break free of the chains that bind them. We’re blown away! Thank you to every single one of you who have played, shared clips, left reviews and dragged a friend (literally) into the carnage.
We’ve been reading every review, Discord message and comment, and we’ve already been hard at work to make Chained Beasts even better. Here’s what to expect on the road ahead.
Now: Bug fixes
A hotfix is out with the following improvements:
We fixed an issue where only the host would earn certain achievements in multiplayer
An issue that caused the game to not progress past the opening splash screen if launched while offline has been resolved
We fixed an issue that sometimes caused Twitch polls to not end
Later this week: Balance patch
Thanks for all the balance feedback, we’ll be making some changes to try and smooth out some of the difficulty spikes and bring single player and multiplayer into line.
Multiplayer will get slightly harder except for the final boss and single player will get slightly easier, as well as a number of more specific changes.
November: Meta progression improvements
Due to popular demand, we are working on a system to unlock more content and character build customization. We want the game to remain skill based and multiplayer friendly so it won't be a grind that increases your power, it will give you more things to unlock and add variety to your runs as you work your way up through the difficulty tiers.
December: Update 1.1
The new alternate act set in Rome is still on the way! More on that as we narrow in on December.
