Racers, 1.6 is here with the game's first seasonal event and sceneries behind the track! Check it out:
👻 Halloween Event
- From Oct 19, 00:00 UTC to Nov 8, 23:59 UTC.
- A ghost crosses the track during races: click it to catch it and earn Spectrol, the event currency.
- It doesn't show up in every race, so keep an eye on the track.
- The pumpkin on the HUD shows the time left; click it to open the event page on the Wiki.
- Spectrol can be sent to your Steam Inventory and traded on the Community Market.
🛒 Spectrol rewards
- Hearse: new event car, strong in Braking, Stability and Durability.
- Jack Lantern and Vlad Velvet: mascots of the new Event rarity, with extra credits and Mastery every race. Unlock them with Spectrol; after that, they also drop from the Mascot Machine.
- Haunted Night and Abandoned Funland sceneries.
- Rewards stay available after the event, and whatever you unlock is yours forever.
🌄 Sceneries
- Animated backdrop behind the track, chosen per car in Workshop → Customize → Customization. An unlocked scenery works for all your cars.
- Weather covers the whole scenery.
- Grand Prix Circuit scenery, bought with DTR Coin.
👤 Profile
- New Garage header with your flag and name.
- You can now change your name and country, once every 7 days; your country sets your national League ranking.
✨ Tweaks and improvements
- 1.75× and 2× window scales on screens that fit them.
- Right-click a currency to jump to the screens where it's used.
- A badge on the Inventory tooltip reminds you of the right-click menu.
- Tire marks and smoke now come from each car's own wheels.
- Fix for logging in right after a race ends.
