Here we have it, the Episode 7 (#2) changelog! 🍌
The second half of Episode 7: Taboo. It's out now on Steam :)
We pick up right where Duke knocked on the bathroom door, and it pushes some boundaries. You know the drill :)
WHAT'S NEW
- 450+ new renders and 120+ new animations
- 4 new songs: It's dripping wet, Make It Pop, Velvet Ride and the new title song, Under Your Spell

GALLERY & ACHIEVEMENTS
- A new Achievements page in the gallery with all 32, showing your Steam progress. Locked ones give a hint.
- Locked polaroids now tell you roughly where to find them.
- Favorites, a full-screen viewer, and a pink NEW on anything you haven't opened yet.
NEW ACHIEVEMENTS
Eight new ones for Episode 7 (#2), one for each way the pier shoot can end and each way the night can go:
- Full Roll - You let the pier shoot run to the very last picture.
- Cut! - You called time on the photoshoot.
- Hands Off! - You threw a punch at the pier. He had it coming.
- Party of Two - You turned Duke down and kept her all to yourself.
- Cooling Off - You stopped it early, and she only wanted you.
- Proof for Cara - You let Duke take what she offered. Cara gets the pictures.
- She's Mine - You took her back, right in front of Duke.
- So Mean! - You told her to get dressed and walked her home aching.
NEW LOOK
Every menu is rebuilt in a loud "summer pop" style: stickers on pool water. Saves are photo stickers, speaker names sit on tags in their colour, the title screen cycles through 9 animated wallpapers and plays music, and Customize Your Story is one clear row per decision.
LANGUAGES
Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Russian, Ukrainian, German, French, Italian, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), Turkish, Polish, Hungarian, Slovenian and Croatian. Pick one at the start or in Options → Languages. Machine translated for now, human translations for launch, so tell me if a line reads weird.
ALSO
- Magnify with + / − or pinch.
- Fixes across earlier episodes, like the white screen on the Episode 5 ferry and two missing sounds in Episode 7 part 1.
- Links on the title screen and end cards open in the Steam overlay.
- A save made on the Episode 7 (#1) end card now carries on into part 2, and v0.72 saves keep their music.
- Faster start-up, and a round of translation fixes.
- Your v0.72 saves should load as normal. If one ever breaks, the game recovers and keeps your decisions. Still stuck? Tell me.
- No free roam in this release - so chess and the other minigames that were planned sit this one out.
FREE ROAM will be available again in future updates, but that's for another post -- and I'll share my plans for the rest of this year sometime next week :)
