We've received reports of a certain path that players can take and be locked out of Estelle's relationship by mistake! This is not intended and will get patched early next week!
BUT, in the meantime, here's what you can do to avoid it:
When you fill Estelle's second heart, at some point, she will invite you to the theater.
Here, you can choose to go with her directly, or wait for later.
IF you choose to go with her directly, you will go to the theater directly.
Early in the dialog at the theater, Estelle's Art preference is unlocked and, there's a choice, and THIS IS WHERE YOU CAN GET LOCKED!
You MUST pick the top branch, where Lunne says "You've always struck me as a poet". The bottom "humbling" branch is where the bug happens.
Choosing the bottom branch in the current version in that context will lead the second heart of Estelle being locked forever!!😭
If (and only if) you have already seen this scene, and have your second heart with Estelle locked, here's a process to unstuck it:
Go to this folder: C:\\Users\\\\AppData\\LocalLow\\Sunny Lab\\The Witch's Bakery\\GameFiles\\Slot_0
There is a file named "Save.lunne". Duplicate it for safety.
Open Save.lunne with a text editor, like notepad.
In the file, find this string "effc1d56-d2a3-4fe5-bcb2-933781bdf8b5".
Find relationshipLevelsLocked, and replace "true" by "false"
.
This will unlock the second heart, and let the relationship progress as normal. Sadly, the theater scene was skipped, but at least this will let you have the next events!
This has already been fixed in the next version, and future playthrough will not have the issue. We're very sorry this particular chain of events is caught only now, and we can only thank you all for reporting your issues with such details that let us find the fix!
