Build 0.0160
- Optimized the Ship preview window code for the Station Shipyard.
- Fixed bug that allowed the ship windows to zoom and rotate even thought the mouse cursor was not within the bounds of the Ship preview camera window.
- Fixed overlap issue with Rock Cloud props and Skybox Clouds. This should drastically reduce if not eliminate most instances where the prop rocks blink in and out behind the skybox sphere.
- Fixed rare bug that caused bad file names on merc files when re saving game after station undock. The bad file name (missing an underscore) would then move into the ship data filename. The bad data would be flagged for removal, thus clearing the merc completely the player save.
- Fixed new bug with UI panel update. The bug was saving the closed location of a panel, so when you reopened the panel after saving the extra options, it would appear as if nothing happened, when in reality the panel appeared off screen.
* Revamped the fleet merc panel on the Pilot Panel. No longer will the vertical panel appear over the pilot stats, additional info and buttons will appear when the list item is clicked. The expansion and collapse of merc details is not limited to one, multiple mercs can be expanded at the same time.
- Added the ability to rename the Merc from this new expandable panel.
- Added back the ability to open the Mercs cargo bay via the Pilot panel / Fleet list. This button is visible when the Merc details are expanded.
- Added new game option to reset positions of all main panels. This will return them all to their default positions.
* New Merc Ship panel available in the Station Shipyard.
The new Merc panel will provide you the ability to change the ship that the Merc is piloting. The default ship that the merc arrives to you with cannot be sold or or modified. The default Merc ship is only leased, and has limitations until Merc is moved from their leased ship. The Merc can be returned to the leased ship, and you can even pilot it yourself. You cannot upgrade the leased ship with new modules.
- Added fleet button to the Station Shipyard. This will open the new Merc Ship panel.
- Added new code to list out all current Mercs, remote and docked with you at the station. Clicking these Merc list items will display the full stats of the Merc ship the same way the player owned ships are displayed. The Merc list item will display the face of the Merc next to the ship. The price will be replaced as Merc ships cannot be sold for profit.
- Added new panel for Merc options on the Shipyard Hangar panel at the Stations. This panel contains the button that will allow the player to change the ship that the merc is currently piloting.
- Added code to adjust the buttons in the Ship Hangar when selecting an unoccupied merc ship from the local dock. Merc ships will display the option to return the leased ship instead of selling it.
- Added code to identify ships that originally came from a merc, and then moved to the ship dock for storage.
- Added code to prevent the profiting of a leased ship that was obtained by a mercenary. You cannot hire a merc and sell their ship, only return it. The message box popup will explain the lease conditions.
- Added code to allow for the NPC ship file into a usable Player Also the reverse, from a player owned ship file to an npc ship file.
- Added new list panel for the selection of available ships at the current station that the Merc can currently pilot. Selecting a ship from this list will Transfer the Mercenary pilot into the selected ship. The only available ships will be those that are docked at that station, and are not currently in use by another mercenary or yourself.
*Garage systems for Leased merc ships.
- Added new code to prevent any major modifications to a Leased ship. The module will be displayed, but a red indicator will show that they cannot be moved. You will need to place the Merc into a ship that you own before modules can be removed or installed.
- Added blocking code to prevent the module from being dragged away, right clicked, or the use of the REMOVE module button on the details panel.
- Adjusted code to allow for manual ammo selection, and module turret rotations and elevations.
