Sneak Peek: Pixel Starships 1.0! — Pixel Starships News

Hi Captains!

[p align="start"]

[p align="start"]We have a huge announcement: Pixel Starships is launching Version 1.0!

[p align="start"]The 1.0 update is massive (with big plans for 1.1 and 1.2), and we are super excited to share a small preview of what’s on the way.

Updated UI & QoL!

[p align="start"]1.0 includes tons of QoL features requested by players. There are too many to mention outside of the patch notes, but we’d like to preview some of the bigger improvements that players can look forward to.

[p align="start"]

[p align="start"]Prestige Results will now display before confirming your selection. No more triple-checking to make sure the right Crews match your desired outcome!

Expired Sales will now be available in the Shop Menu. The backlog will extend to 7 Days, incurring a 25% cost increase to match the Late Sales selection on the Pixel Starships website.

Mining Drone deployment is being overhauled in 1.0, providing a clearer overview of possible results and current progress.

[p align="start"]

[p align="start"]Mining Drones are no longer Items and will not require starting a Mission to recover.

[p align="start"]There’s a mountain of other QoL improvements coming in 1.0. A detailed list will be included in the Major Update Patch Notes.

Legendary Equipment!

[p align="start"]Prepare for a whole new level of Crew potential, Captain. Legendary Equipment is coming!

Legendary Equipment unlocks 2 Randomly Rolled Bonus Stats.
Crafting Legendary Equipment requires 3 of the matching Heroic variant to upgrade.
Each piece of Legendary Equipment features a golden glow effect.

IMPORTANT:

Players will notice some of their existing equipment is upgraded to Legendary as part of the 1.0 Major Update.

ALL equipment from EVERY past Battle Season will be automatically upgraded from Epic/Heroic to Heroic/Legendary. (This includes the current Season – Dwarf Star. Yippee!)

War Games: Campaign II!

[p align="start"]War Games finally returns, marking the start of the 2nd Campaign! We’ve added several improvements based on feedback from the 1st Campaign – but that’s not all.

[p align="start"]A new Enemy Ship and Challenge are coming to War Games. A massive Party Barge was trashed last night, and they need help cleaning up after a crazy evening of festivities.

[p align="start"]

[p align="start"]Captains will be ranked on how many special Balloon Modules they can burst within the time limit. Each time a Balloon Module pops, another will appear in its place after a randomized delay.

[p align="start"]As part of the Second Campaign, a new set of Ribbons will be added to the game.

[p align="start"]

[p align="start"]Be sure to get in quick! These Ribbons are only available for a short time and will no longer be available once the Campaign comes to a close.

Legendary Crew Buff!

[p align="start"]The 1.0 Major Update also increases the power gap between Legendary Crew and lower rarities.

[p align="start"]Legendary Crew now receive an additional 20 Max Training Points, raising the cap from 110 to 130.

[p align="start"]

[p align="start"]Additional information on changes to any Legendary Crew Stats will be included in the 1.0 Major Update Patch Notes.

[p align="start"]

[p align="start"]There are even reports of a new entity stalking the universe – keep your eyes peeled and your bay doors locked for the dreaded Pontianak. BOO!
