Hello everyone!
It's been a very long time without any Ancestors news, but today we wanted to share that a major update is coming for free on December 8th.
This update was announced as part of today's Galaxies Autumn Showcase and includes visual improvements as part of an upgrade to UE5, documentary-style narration, a new feature-rich photo mode, numerous quality-of-life enhancements, and more. The game is also coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, with optimizations for those platforms.
We're planning to keep the original "legacy" version of the game available for all Steam players on a separate public branch, so that both versions remain accessible in perpetuity.
