I'm Chris Dupuis, an Executive Producer here at Codename Entertainment, and I want to share some exciting news from our studio. Our latest Game, Folded Fables: Tidy Up The Dragon Hoard, is now available on Steam, and seasoned Crusaders of the Lost Idols players will likely recognize many of the items in the game!
Folded Fables is a new tidy up game with a papercraft visual style inspired by Paper Mario. The team drew on years of beautiful hand-drawn artwork from Crusaders as well as Bush Whacker 2. They combined that gorgeous catalog with a new papercraft-inspired environment, complete with a giant folded green dragon named Ivy who keeps a close eye on you as you organize her hoard!
I first discovered the tidy up genre while playing many hours of Super Market Chaos with my daughter this past summer. It was a great way for us to chat and connect while enjoying a relaxing game together. When Eric mentioned we were making a new game in the genre, I was intrigued! Now, as I write this post just ahead of the game's launch, I'm honestly so excited for players to give Folded Fables a try!
Not only is Folded Fables super fun to play, especially as you unlock new powers to help organize piles of fantasy items around a dragon's hoard, but it's gorgeous!
Between the beautiful artwork, cozy environment, and relaxing music, I find myself jumping in to play at night when I want to take my mind off things. If Crusaders of the Lost Idols provides you with a restful escape from the pressures of the world, I think you might enjoy Folded Fables.
