We're so happy that so many of you have started playing on release day!
This post will be a short one because we've seen a lot of bug reports that have the same cause: If you have played the demo of The Witch's Bakery, be sure to do these two things:
Make sure that you are playing on the correct branch. Right-click on your game your library, then go to "properties" and "Game Versions & Betas". You should be on the Default Public Version!
You should start a new game. The game will pick-up your demo save file and show a "Continue" button, but you must start a new game, since saves are incompatible and the game will get stuck at some point if you continue with your old save.
We now have deleted the demo branch version, which should at least prevent players from playing the wrong version, BUT it does not touch the save so be sure to start a new game!
We did not anticipate that the demo would still be accessible with demo keys disabled, we're so sorry for the oversight!
