An update on cheating
In Season 43 we experienced a sudden rise in the number of cheaters. Multiple hotfixes were released to patch exploits and dozens of bans were issued. Many of the accounts in use had been compromised and stolen from their original owners. The effects of cheating impacted the winrate of certain commanders, and has delayed the regularly scheduled Forts update. We continue to work on improving both the ranked experience and Forts as a whole and we appreciate your support.
Ranked Trivia
- Overdrive's popularity continued rising, reaching 18.4%, while their winrate of 46% dropped another spot to 13th out of 15
- Shockenaugh took advantage of S43's expansion heavy map pool to climb back to even with a 50% winrate
- To combat big bases, the howitzer trend continued and missiles also saw increased popularity, pushing Seep's winrate up 6 points to 56%
- While the early buzzsaw trend never fully faded away, but now with Pillars and Hillfort back in the pool be on the lookout for early cheese
- An infusion of fresh players saw over 34,000 matches played this season
