Bigger grids, more languages
More of your chat on the grid, and more of your chat in their own language. This update raises the racer limits, adds five new languages and cleans up a batch of details.
Bigger grids
- Time Trial now takes up to 250 racers (was 200).
- Arcade now takes up to 100 racers (was 75).
If your Max Cars setting was at the old maximum, it moves up to the new one automatically. Other values stay as they were.
Five new languages
Stream Racer is now also available in Czech, Hungarian, Italian, Russian and Turkish, bringing the total to 15. Choose your language under Settings > Language; by default the game follows your Steam language.
Plan your Grand Prix
The Add Maps screen of a Grand Prix now shows the estimated total time next to the number of races added, so you can see how long your series runs while picking maps.
Fresh companion app artwork
The home screen card and the lobby and results banners now show the current Stream Racer companion app. The banner headline is translated into every language.
Fixes
- The Connect Now button in the "Twitch not connected" window opens the Twitch login again. After connecting from New Game, Track Builder or the Nitro button, that screen or the Nitro purchase window opens on its own.
- Bold Japanese text shows sharp kanji instead of white blobs.
- The leaderboard Day, Week and All tabs show the right words in every language, and long leaderboard titles no longer run into the tabs.
- Accents and umlauts on the first heading of a settings tab are no longer cut off.
- The loading text no longer runs into the clock icon, and the Nitro Buy More label keeps some space inside its box.
- The Track Builder intersection status fits on one line in French.
- The lobby banner headline sits in its proper place, and the app artwork stays sharp at every screen size.
