Today’s update introduces Interplanetary Travel, along with several bug fixes and improvements inspired by your feedback.
Interplanetary Travel
Travel between planets with the new Planetary Gateway! This two-way portal connects your current location to any of the 5 planets currently accessible, allowing you to travel there and back with ease.
To unlock it, you'll need to complete Terraformation Stage 11.
A few things to keep in mind:
- For safety reasons, your entire crew must always travel together when moving between planets.
- All machines will stop running while you are away from a planet.
Interplanetary Warehouse
Introducing the Interplanetary Warehouse, a shared storage network accessible from any planet!
Items can be stored on one planet and accessed from another, making resource management across worlds possible. However, interplanetary transfers take time, with a transfer rate of 60 items per minute for each of the five conveyor inputs. You can also build multiple Interplanetary Warehouses on the same planet, and they will all share the same inventory, making resource management and logistics easier than ever!
The Interplanetary Warehouse also offers several other advantages over regular warehouses:
- Massive storage capacity: Its unique stack size of 1,000 items lets you store large quantities of many different items.
- Customizable conveyor outputs: Choose which items are sent to each output conveyor, giving you more control over your logistics.
Improved Gamepad & Steam Deck Support
We've completely reworked gamepad button mapping to provide a smoother experience both in-game and throughout the menus.
You can now also remap most buttons to suit your preferred control scheme, making it easier to play your way!
Other Improvements & Fixes
This update also includes several additional improvements:
- Increased the standard running speed.
- Improved precision of the multi-tool when mining.
- Fixed several train-related bugs.
- Fixed issues that could cause FPS drops.
- Fixed multiplayer synchronization issues.
