Hello Chefs!
We wanted Chef to be in top shape for the Cooking Fest, so we've been secretly working on a new update focused on one of the most requested improvements so far: performance.
We've also added new ingredients and fixed a bunch of issues that have been reported over time, including some that had been left pending for a while.
Thanks again for your support during all these years, and happy Cooking Fest, everyone!
Highlight
Performance & loading times drastically improved. We experienced up to +67% FPS in some restaurants!
Ingredients & Recipes
5 new ingredients added: Tempeh, Vegan Cream, Seitan, Galangal and Cashew.
Added Champagne as a standalone Beverage recipe, allowing it to retain its noble status without having to be mixed with other ingredients.
Updated the tags of several ingredients. Stock, for example, is no longer considered Vegetarian or Vegan.
Added several missing ingredient associations, including some much-needed company for poor Salami, who apparently wasn't getting along with anyone.

Added a new outline system to improve performances and make outlines more visible.
Reworked lighting by rebaking the global illumination in all scenes to improve performances, reduce light bleeding and improve the looks of indirect light.
