Stream Racer is now available in 10 languages: English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Dutch, Polish, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
Choose your language under Settings > Language. By default the game follows your Steam language.
Viewer names with accents or Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters now display properly instead of showing as boxes.
New
New race intro: the camera sweeps around the starting grid from the side and ends up behind the cars.
Grand Prix creation now shows an estimated total time for the selected maps. Lobby waits and breaks between races are not included.
Gameplay changes
Catch-up has been reworked and now feels smoother and less predictable. Cars far behind the leader gradually speed up, cars far ahead of the pack are gently slowed down, and a field that is already close together is left alone. The whole field no longer bunches up every 3 seconds. Its strength also varies a little per race and per car.
Boost pads now give a random push each time instead of always the same amount.
Cars become solid sooner after the start: 0.5 to 2 seconds after crossing the start line instead of 1 to 5 seconds.
The ATV's top speed is slightly lower (119 instead of 120 km/h) because it was winning too often.
Bug fixes
Cars no longer fall through objects while waiting to respawn. After respawning they can still pass through objects and other cars for 2 seconds so they don't get stuck.
The in-race leaderboard now shows the same finishing order as the results screen when cars finish very close together.
Fixed the lobby title, countdown and other bold text disappearing for the rest of the session after a Grand Prix podium.
You can zoom all the way into the car in driver view again.
