Respond to a distress beacon on Planet Xylodon, a world lush with some of the most beautiful (and strange) plant life ever seen by humankind. Your research team has been studying the wild growth of the local flora, but has suddenly gone silent. Touch down, grab your putter, and make your way through the planet while unfolding the mysteries of the world and the fate of your team in the process!

Try, Try Again!
Listen, we all make mistakes. And sometimes you want to be able to take those mistakes back and try again. We're talking about mulligans, of course! If you've ever made an accidental putt or shanked one too far to the side, now's your chance to get that do-over! You can set the amount of mulligans granted per player in the course options when selecting a course, or in the expanded course scorecard view as a modifier. After you putt, simply look at your wrist display and select the Mulligan button to activate. If at first you don't succeed, try, try (and try, and try, and try) again!
Experimental Hand Tracking
Hand tracking has come to Walkabout Mini Golf for our Quest users! To enable Hand Tracking in Walkabout, simply go to your in-game Settings and enable Experimental Hand Tracking in the Options tab. You will be able to go through a tutorial to get a handle on the controls before using them in full, mini golfing force. Please keep in mind that you will also need to ensure hand tracking is enabled in your device settings. This feature is very experimental, so please keep in mind that bugs/issues may occur when implementing this setting.
Promo Code System
We've added a promotional code redemption system to WMG. This system will enable players to be able to enter codes in-game to redeem cosmetics or other items that we can now create codes for!

Improvements, Known Issues and Fixes
Improvements
We've expanded the color options for the Tuxedo outfit for your Avatar. This fanciful fit now has 8 different color options to choose from!
We're upping our Private Room moderation! Private Room hosts can now kick players from their room, which bars them from re-entry. Additionally, if a host blocks a player, they will be prohibited from joining ANY of their Private Rooms.
Known Issues
The Grip-to-Puppet is still a bit finnicky on SteamVR depending on the controller you're using (such as the Steam Index controller). We're looking into this as we speak!
Fixes
Multiplayer Fixes
Previously, players abandoned during Quick Matches could be wrongly penalized for leaving an empty room. To fix this, we've added more security so that quitting an abandoned Quick Match will not count negatively against the abandoned player. Warnings and bans should only fire when a Quick Match player abandons someone else.
It's the worst when you disconnect from a game. Fortunately, we've improved the reliability of the the "Rejoin Round" pop-up button appearing if a player disconnects due to temporary network failure
We've made some adjustments to voice chat in order to make it more robust. This should alleviate an issue where players could lose voice chat mid-round.
Some players could encounter consistent failures with sending/accepting friend requests. We've updated this system to help us obtain more bug information when an error occurs so we can more easily troubleshoot with affected users in a secure fashion. A number will appear alongside the issue if it occurs, so please submit a Support Ticket along with that number so we can look into the specific issue associated with that number.
We've made improvements to aid with connectivity issues some players have been having since the release of Blokhaven. In a related effort, we have also added a fix to address players stranded in a Private Room if a host returns to Shack and changes courses while the affected player is still loading back to the Shack.
Shack Fixes
We've repaired some broken text that was not displaying correctly in certain Asian languages such as Chinese. These should now all be properly legible!
Players can now properly tab to prior course menu listings while in our secondary Packs homepage without getting stuck.
Gloop Lair Fixes
There was a brief delay when progressing from Hole 8 to Hole 9. We've corrected this to have a smoother progression.
The course's bananas easter egg now has proper lighting. No more rotten nanas!
Homestar Runner Distraction Pack Fixes
Some players were experiencing issues with sticky notes not saving after collection, especially with leaving mid-cutscene; we've applied a fix to make that collection-save data more accurate.
The "Restart Round" option in StrongBad Zone now properly resets the round
The intro cutscene for Bubs' Many Golfs now properly replays for late joiners
Other Fixes
We've cleaned up the blurring on the edges of the "Resume Game" and "Main Menu" scorecard buttons
On SteamVR, some players were experiencing resets of their custom calibration or were unable to save their calibration whatsoever. We've added more safety nets to ensure Steam players can properly set and maintain their custom grip!
