Thank you very much for playing our game.
We have continued to receive a great deal of feedback and bug reports since Ver.1.0.5, and we sincerely thank everyone who took the time to send them.
Today, we have released an update (Ver.1.0.8) that adds keyboard and gamepad controls, rebalances QTEs, and fixes a number of bugs.
■ New Features & Improvements
We have made the following additions and improvements.
【Keyboard & Gamepad Controls】
The game can now be played with a keyboard or a gamepad (including on Steam Deck).
The buttons available on each screen are shown at the bottom of the screen. Move the mouse at any time to switch back to mouse controls.
Main controls (gamepad buttons use the Xbox controller layout)
Move: D-Pad / Left Stick (Keyboard: Arrow Keys / WASD)
Confirm: A (Z / Enter / Space)
Cancel: B (X / Backspace)
View details: Y (C)
Go to side menu: X (Tab)
【QTE】
Rebalanced QTE success rates.
Previously, the higher a skill's level, the less Trust improved its success rate. Success rates now rise properly with Trust (e.g. a Lv5 attack skill at 100 Trust: 25% → 40%).
Added QTE Retry, which lets you try a failed QTE once more.
The QTE resumes from where you stopped, and the success area grows slightly with each retry.
Changed the effect of Exalted from "increases magic damage" to "QTE Retry +1".
Halved the speed of the QTE bar so it is easier to stop where you aim.
【Gear】
Gear you have obtained in a previous playthrough is no longer shown as a silhouette on the Develop and reward screens.
This makes it easier to see which gear you still need for \[Total] unlock requirements. In the gear slots on the Develop screen, gear you do not have in the current playthrough is shown semi-transparent.
【Shopkeep】
When you use LET GO, Hom now spins once on the spot and drops the item instead of walking to the center of the screen.
■ Bug Fixes
We have fixed the following bugs.
Enemy Wrath and Angry were not added to their attack damage.
The Red Dragon only kept repeating Frenzy after its HP fell to half or below.
If Hom had Fireproof, Burn inflicted by Hom on enemies had no effect.
Resilient (nullifies Weak) had no effect (e.g. Diamond).
The Miracle Amulet's effect did not trigger.
The Talon Amulet only removed Evasion. It now removes Evasion, Harden and Spikes.
Defense from gear (such as Safety Shoes and Shell Knife) was not applied to damage taken.
In Guard QTEs, stopping in the part of the success area that wraps around to the other end of the bar counted as a miss.
For buff and healing skills, the QTE success rate was displayed higher than the actual rate.
We will continue to make improvements so that everyone can enjoy a smooth gaming experience.
Thank you for your continued support!
