This update brings Halloween to Deceit 2, a new Daily Challenges system, improves Custom mode with smarter bots, and adds a range of gameplay fixes and presentation improvements.
FEATURED
HALLOWEEN EVENT
Halloween has arrived, with an updated shop, loading screen, menu music, and themed cosmetics. Look out for a new Yandere Nina skin and a Bang O’Lantern Cowboy skin, along with some tasty new item cosmetics for the Bear Trap, Decoy and Earmuffs!
DAILY CHALLENGE
There’s a new reason to return to the ritual each day. The Challenges menu brings together Daily, Weekly, and Lifetime challenges, with cards that show your progress and the rewards you can earn.
Complete objectives as you play, then return to the menu to collect your rewards. You can preview what’s available, follow your weekly progress, and look back through your challenge history.
CUSTOM MODE IMPROVEMENT
It’s now easier to start a standalone game from the menu. We’ve made it clearer when you’re entering Practice mode and improved the game-found, loading, role-selection, and end-of-game flows.
Bots are also better at completing tasks, repairing sabotages, escaping, inspecting players, using Terror abilities, recovering as survivors, and making deductions and voting decisions.

IMPROVEMENTS
Infected can now see which Terror their partner is selecting in character select.
Added a task completion popup and improved task visuals and overlays.
Improved Practice mode’s intro and ending sequences, role transitions, player and bot skin display, and audio.
Added “shh” behaviour for Infected and Cursed players.
Updated Legacy controls by removing the extra transformation delay, dodge timer, and wheel hand animation and cooldown.
Players can now shoot while using Inquisitor and Observer abilities.

Fixed Jak Sleezy Smart Skin showing incorrectly.
Fixed Vampire Pterodactyl size.
Fixed not being able to shoot during Inquisitor and Observer abilities.
Fixed Cowboy Rhino sometimes being invisible.
Fixed In-Between phase not being extended based on Weak Points activated.
Fixed pistol firing "ghost" shots sometimes that don't register.
Fixed vulture terror skin covering the screen.
Fixed Wager mutation not refunding properly.
Fixed bots copying ranked border and emblem at the End of Game screen.
Fixed bots getting stuck on horses on Bluff Gulch map.
Fixed Alien blob form being able to go through the closed Space Walk doors.
Fixed Alien blob form not being able go through Saloon vault on Bluff Gulch.
Fixed Alien getting stuck when possessing the host by the Bank on Bluff Gulch.
Fixed Cowboy Rhino showing during invisibility Dash.
Fixed purple Arms on Crimson ape Clown Terror.
Fixed Tree and Trophy light trap showing upside down in Collection.
Fixed various bug spots.
Fixed taking an extra second after transforming to Terror in Legacy Game Mode.
Removed the hand animation from Legacy Game Mode.
