Soundtrack Released
You can now buy the soundtrack on Steam! You can grab both the game and the soundtrack together in a bundle for 15% off :0 Please know that 2 tracks (PGD and Deluge Themes) were made by other artists and aren't in the soundtrack at this time.
Gameplay & Balance
Squirmy buff! Speed increased from 8 to 9, plus 50% damage reduction while riding.
Fixed several speedrun timer issues. The timer now stops when an ending is reached.
Network Graph
The network graph has been optimized and now bakes walls into a single texture. You can open the network graph in busy levels with virtually zero overhead!
Walls meet cleanly at corners in the minimap.
The graph opens centered on you, even right after a level loads.
Skelly Passives
New: Thrifty. Picking up a gun for the first time refills its ammo.
Fixed the Still Gun Bonus passives (Accuracy, Recoil, Rotation) removing the bonus from the wrong gun, and tracking now continues if the gun is destroyed.
Fixed Muted Skelly Passive clearing the wrong gun when it ends.
Fixed Mindful Skelly Passive: it now removes only the charges it added, can't go negative (which counted as infinite), follows slot 3 spell changes, and works with an empty slot 3.
Crash Fixes
Corrupted or hand-edited saves now fall back to safe defaults instead of crashing.
Saving
Saves are written more safely with an automatic backup, and the game falls back to it if a save can't be read.
Corrupt save lines are skipped with a warning instead of crashing the load.
Failed saves now log an error instead of failing silently.
Values containing "=" now survive save/load.
Decimal values (money, debt) save the same way in every language and region.
Names and text with line breaks can no longer damage a save.
Fixed a rare bug where opening the save-slot menu could cause progress to save to the wrong slot.
Enemy AI
Enemies now switch to closer threats instead of locking onto one target (and stop facing corpses).
Fixed an error preventing enemies from strafing in ranged combat in some circumstances.
Updated target scanning logic to be more reliable and performant.
Performance
Fixed a VRAM leak in the fullscreen effect pass, which is now skipped when no effect is configured.
Fixed a small memory leak in creature targeting.
Loading into a save or new game from the main menu is about half a second faster.
Fixed jitter visual error in Flow State.
Fire
Fires no longer linger after they should have ended.
Fixed fire getting stuck on a character and preventing re-ignition.
Extinguished fire no longer blocks spread into that spot.
Fixed wrong spell costs or speed bonuses remaining after fire ended.
Spells
Fixed the Become Succ perk and other spells that change cost or usage amounts.
Fixed spells deactivating twice and penalizing the player.
Fixed money-cost spells allowing cast so long as the amount was greater than 1/1000th of needed cost and putting the player into negative holdings.
Fixed Bloodmage making money spells castable with negative holdings.
Audio & UI
Music tracks no longer overlap for a frame on scene transitions.
Fixed a false bug warning in the terminal when using the ammo station refill command.
*Also fixed like a brazillion typos.
