UPDATE NOTES
💰 Economy & Finance
Fixed an issue where redeeming bonds could cause a profitable company to go bankrupt. The problem was caused by an incorrect order of debt repayment and net asset calculations during quarterly transitions.
Bonds issued by bankrupt companies no longer disappear from portfolios without notification. They now remain visible with a "Bankrupt!" label, and the player receives a notification letter from the company's director.
Bonds held by characters are now included in their net worth calculations.
Fixed coupon income calculations when selling or exchanging bonds.
Fixed an issue that caused companies to receive their profits twice before the start of a game.
Adjusted the default mechanics: exchanging bonds for shares is now restricted to AI-controlled characters who hold at least 20% of the bond issue.
🆕 New Features & Improvements
Bond coupon income is now taxed in the same way as dividends, including federal taxes and taxes imposed by the issuer's state.
