Hello Scribes, This week brings us Interlude Patch: Word To The Wise! Inside, you'll find Orange Updates, Green QoL + Balance, Re-nameable Loadouts, Performance Improvements, and more things! We also have Roads & Riches news (that you may have seen in the Discord already) - we're combining our R&R and Vellum Discords into a single Alvios Games server! It should be pretty smooth and you'll be able to see some nice new organized channels! Keep up with whichever games strike your fancy and chat with us all in one place!
Hey Buddy! Orange and Green Adjustments
Green is receiving some buffs to its base kit to help with early game and its performance in Raids. We've also (hopefully fully) fixed an issue with the Evolved Inkling getting stuck.
We're adjusting Orange to improve its baseline performance and support varied playstyles. Survey will now decay on the Scribe so that the Survey cost is the same whether the Atlas is placed or stored. We're buffing Survey generation and maintenance to compensate. These changes should make Orange feel stronger and more versatile, providing you with more build flexibility.
To address this:
Survey now decays while the Atlas is stored, but the decay rate has been nerfed from 5% to 4%
Survey Generation is increased to 15% of Spell Damage from 10%
Survey now decays while its on the Scribe
Both Orange and Green have also received new pages!
Spelling Out Some New Pages
Orange and Green have received 8 new pages (7 for Orange and 1 for Green.) Orange's new pages will help Scribes generate more Survey and support multiple playstyles.
We also have 7 more new pages to round out some spells' upgrade pools. Manifest, Bristle, Monologue, Overrule, Callback, and Passage all have new pages. These pages are a bit more subdued than some of our previous additions, but they all target specific holes in each spell's upgrade paths.
Bonus Improvements
You can now manually rename your Saved Loadouts! We've also introduced new Performance improvements that should help with AoEs and fixes that reduce issue with enemy health bars updating. Thank you to everyone who helped draw attention to these topics - either in bug reports or suggestions!

15 New Pages of Power
Orange Ink
Survey Generation increased to 15% of Spell Damage (Was 10%)
Survey Decays at 4% per second (was 5%)
Survey now decays on the Scribe during combat
Atlas
Primary Shot damage increased to 13 from 10
Primary Shot now targets the highest health, visible Torn
Scour Damage reduced to 13 from 15
Fortify radius increased by 25%
Green Ink
Base Inkling Primary Damage increased to 9 from 7
Base Inkling Mortar targeted damage increased to 70 from 60
Base Inkling Mortar area damage increased to 50 from 40
Evolved Inkling Slam targeted damage increased to 120 from 100
Evolved Inkling Slam area damage increased to 75 from 60
Dawn & Dusk have had their scaling tied to Scribes reduced.
Dawn & Dusk do more damage in raids baseline.
Players can now create their own Loadout names
Vignette: Thesis, a Ship Rewritten has had a couple wooden pieces removed/added
Bug Fixes
Evolved Inkling should no longer stop performing actions
Undivided Attention should no longer reset when casting Monologue
Monologue should now always receive Raid Badges when completing a raid
Fixed an issue where Storyboard could prevent leaving by saying there's rewards pending
Fixed an issue where some pages that required Weakened might not show up when the player had access to Weakened
