Territory Gathering Protection
When your gathering march is attacked while within your own Alliance Territory, a portion of your troops that would have been wounded now escape unharmed and return home with your march. The amount of troops that escape scales with your Alliance Territory:
Alliance holds 0 to 199 Territory Tiles - 2.5% of troops escape unharmed
Alliance holds 200 to 999 Territory Tiles - 5% of troops escape unharmed
Alliance holds 1000 to 2499 Territory Tiles - 7.5% of troops escape unharmed
Alliance holds 2500 to 5999 Territory Tiles - 10% of troops escape unharmed
Alliance holds 6000 to 12499 Territory Tiles - 12.5% of troops escape unharmed
Alliance holds 12,500 to 19999 Territory Tiles - 15% of troops escape unharmed
Alliance holds more than 20000 Territory Tiles - 20% of troops escape unharmed
Escaped troops never require healing and take up no space in the Sawbones.
Territory Vanquish Bonuses
Attacking Foes that are within your own Alliance Territory now grants increased Vanquish damage and extra Champion XP, scaling with your Alliance Territory:
Alliance holds 0 to 199 Territory Tiles - 2.5% Increased Vanquish Damage and 5% extra Champion XP gained
Alliance holds 200 to 999 Territory Tiles - 5% increased Vanquish Damage and 10% extra Champion XP gained
Alliance holds 1000 to 2499 Territory Tiles - 7.5% increased Vanquish Damage and 15% extra Champion XP gained

Alliance holds more than 20000 Territory Tiles - 25% increased Vanquish Damage and 35% extra Champion XP gained
Territory Gathering Changes
The bonus Gathering speed granted from controlling Alliance Territory has been reworked as follows:
Alliance holds 0 to 199 Territory Tiles - No Gather Speed Boost
Alliance holds 200 to 999 Territory Tiles - 25% Gather Speed Boost (the current amount)
Alliance holds 1000 to 2499 Territory Tiles - 50% Gather Speed Boost
Alliance holds 2500 to 5999 Territory Tiles - 75% Gather Speed Boost
Alliance holds 6000 to 12499 Territory Tiles - 100% Gather Speed Boost
Alliance holds 12500 to 19999 Territory Tiles - 125% Gather Speed Boost
Alliance holds more than 20000 Territory Tiles - 150% Gather Speed Boost
Additional Territory Contest Speed Bonuses
New ways to improve your Territory Contest speed have been added.
Starting at Prestige Level 11, and for every additional level on the journey to Prestige Level 30, players will now receive an increase of 1% to their Territory Contest Speed, for a maximum increase of 30%.
2 new Rituals have been added Command Rituals within the Sorcerer’s Citadel, Relentless Conquest I and II, both of which focus on increasing your Territory Contest Speed granting a further increase of 30%.
Territory Takeover Challenge Changes
Scoring in the Territory Takeover (Alliance) challenge has been reworked to reflect the territory your Alliance actually gains and holds, rather than total captures:
Securing a Territory Tile for your Alliance (bringing it to supplied status) continues to award 1 point to your Alliance's challenge total (the current mechanic).
Losing a supplied Territory Tile - whether it is contested away by an enemy Alliance, neutralized by an NPC, or lost to decay - now deducts 1 point from your Alliance's challenge total.
Alliance challenge totals can now go negative as a result of these deductions.
It is therefore no longer possible to earn challenge points by repeatedly trading the same tiles between Alliances - positions on the challenge leaderboard now represent the net territory secured and held over the course of the event.
Please note: these deductions apply only to the Alliance challenge total. Points a player has personally earned toward other challenges are unaffected, and the deduction only occurs while a Territory Takeover challenge is active.
Territory Takeover Challenge Rebalance
Alongside the change to net scoring, the Alliance point requirements for the Territory Takeover challenge reward tiers have been reduced as follows:
Entry Tier - 25 points (unchanged)
Bronze Tier - 50 points (reduced from 60)
Silver Tier - 125 points (reduced from 140)
Gold Tier - 250 points (reduced from 280)
Platinum Tier - 500 points (reduced from 600)
With challenge points now representing the net Territory your Alliance secures and holds, these reduced requirements keep every reward tier within reach of Alliances fighting over contested ground, rather than only those expanding unopposed.
Foe Respawn Changes
Foes of level 6 and above have an increased chance of spawning within Territory to allow players to benefit more than the increased Vanquish Damage and XP bonuses.
Territory Change
Regular Level 1 to 5 Armies and Foes will no longer contest if spawned within your Territory. Higher-level Enemies, event enemies and Raid bosses continue to contest Territory as before.
Chapter Improvements
Chapter Quests (Daemonblade, Armour of Damnation, Helm of Damnation): these chapters now check completion of each item's Chaos Quest rather than current item ownership, so dismantling a piece of Eternal gear for materials no longer blocks chapter completion. This change applies retroactively.
Veteran Realm Resource Improvements
The Resource Locations (Farms, Stone Quarries, Lead Mines, Forests and Iron Ore Deposits) that spawn across the World Map increase in level as a Realm ages. This schedule has been reworked as follows:
Realms now progress through the resource schedule faster, reaching the previous maximum at 600 days of Realm age instead of 720.
Two new veteran stages have been added at 720 days and 900 days, bringing Level 11 and Level 12 Resource Locations to the World Map as permanent spawns for the first time - previously these only appeared during special events.
The highest level of Resource Location spawning now scales as follows:
Realm Age under 275 Days - up to Level 9 (broadly the current schedule, reached sooner)
Realm Age 275 Days - Level 10 Resource Locations begin to spawn
Realm Age 600 Days - Level 11 Iron Ore Deposits begin to spawn
Realm Age 720 Days - Level 11 Resource Locations of every type
Realm Age 900 Days - Level 12 Resource Locations of every type, the new maximum
On Realms aged 900 days and above, lower level locations are also improved: the minimum Resource Location level rises from 5 to 6, and the mid-level groups upgrade to Levels 8 and 9 - so no location on a veteran Realm's map sits below Level 6.
Resource Event Changes
The Boon of Slaanesh: Level 13 Iron Ore Deposits in Altdorf during the event increased from 5 to 10.
Scourge of Chaos: Level 13 Altdorf locations now replenish instantly. Additionally, 2 Level 14 locations of every resource type now have a chance to appear around Altdorf.
Spoils of Victory has had it’s values increased to ensure it’s still a buff to spawn rates on Veteran realms.
Set of Dominion
Following player feedback, the Hammer of Dominion and Totem of Dominion can now be crafted at Daemonic Forge level 30 (previously level 34).
