Hey everyone, we've just released the Boreal Ascent Update, the first major content drop for Cursemark. This brings in a whole new zone, new enemies and bosses, new skills, and a number of updates.
The new zone adds 37 new locations to the map, from snowy peaks and frozen ruins to caves and temples. In these areas you'll find new Starspawn enemy types, including a new miniboss and major boss encounter, as well as new secrets and shortcuts to figure out.
We've also updated the arsenal with 16 new skills to unlock, equip, and master:
Weapons: Charging Stars, Galvanized Blade, Sapping Flurry, Unseen Edge
Spells: Fulgor, Gelidus, Morning Star, Nox Foras
Wards: Aura of Decay, Crystal Shield, Sanguine Veil, Scaled Nova, Storm Deflection
Ultimates: Anomalis, Inspirare, Splendoria
And of course we've made some nitty gritty changes, including balancing across weapons, skills, runes, and talismans, improvements to enemy behavior, various map fixes, and more.
