Today, we'd like to once again extend an invitation to participate in our project's development process! How? With a playtest for a brand new upcoming feature.
What's the upcoming feature?
The next update to SWAT Commander involves the addition of a campaign system to the game that's going to reward you with both new equipment and appearance customization for weapons and uniforms.
As you progress from mission to mission, you'll be presented with the option of completing achievements and challenges in return for those unlockables.
What's more, the game will give you the option of tracking various stats related to your performance on individual missions. More on that as we iron out the details.
Why a playtest?
As we finish works on our update and run it through QA, we would then like to give you the option to see it yourself before it goes live and let us know if everything is working for you correctly or if you have any other feedback related to the update.
If you haven't played SWAT Commander yet, the playtest will also be a perfect opportunity to sample the game, as it's going to feature three missions and a solid chunk of the upcoming progression/campaign feature.
When?
The playtest begins next weekend, October 3rd at midnight Pacific Time (09:00 CEST) and ends in 48 hours. An extension is possible if we see a potential for more feedback past the end date!
